For the 7th consecutive year, Sardinia will be among the leading participants of ‘Fa’ la cosa giusta!’, the top italian event focused on slow and sustainable tourism, taking place in Milan at the Allianz MiCo, from March 22nd to 24th.
Pavillion #3, especially stands ‘Piazza Sardegna’, ‘Piazza Grandi Cammini – Viaggio Italiano’ and ‘Piazza Turismo Lento’, will be the locations where the Region of Sardinia stages ten open-to-public meetings. Their common thread will be the lands, the itineraries, the hamlets and the communities involved in the event ‘Noi Camminiamo in Sardegna’. NCiS is a project created and launched by the Regional Department of Tourism, Crafts and Commerce of Sardinia, aiming to define and promote the cultural and tourist offering of paths and pilgrimage destinations, included in the regional register.
The ‘Fiera dei Grandi Cammini’ (Great walks’ Fair) hosts a rich amount of events, focused on walks and cultural/religious itineraries.
Within the ‘Turismo Consapevole, Grandi Cammini e Outdoor’ exihibition area, tourist, nature and cultural guides, along with tour operators, sustainable tourism associations, experienced hikers, walk guides’ authors and the ‘Percorsi’ editorial staff of Terre di Mezzo (publisher and promoter of ‘Fa’ la cosa giusta!’) will describe the paths and pilgrimage destinations itineraries in Sardinia. The audience will discover an amazing heritage of nature, culture, faith and food&wine traditions, which can be experienced walking in the authentic, inner ‘heart’ of Sardinia.
